When you see an ad on MediaBrains, part of the charge goes to the advertiser to pay for their ad. The other part of the charge goes to MediaBrains to help pay for our costs of operating the site, including hosting fees, employee salaries, and so forth. We think that this is a fair way to fund the site and keep it free for everyone who uses it
