ThisCharge is for the Urban Technology Fee, a charge assessed to all undergraduate students taking classes on the Danforth Campus. The fee provides funding for innovative technology initiatives and services that enhance the educational experience and support the Academic Plan goal of providing students with a world-class education. The fee is $51 per semester and is used to support the following initiatives: Student computing sites, hardware and software discounts, email and internet services, specialized computing labs, laptop checkouts, video conferencing equipment and services, and technical support. The fee also helps to fund capital projects such as the expansion of wireless coverage on campus and the upgrade of classroom technology.
